Without a proper documentation, we will not able to know what topics we have in our current library.

Before I go into step by step instruction on how to use PLR Organizer, let me share with you how I document and archive all the Private Label Rights ( PLR ) articles from different sources.

Name your folder following the merchant's name :

C:\PLR\Merchant1.Com\

C:\PLR\Merchant2.Com\

Then, in each sub folder, just create a folder like 200606.

So, you will see :

C:\PLR\Merchant1.Com\200606 --> for month of June 2006

C:\PLR\Merchant1.Com\200605 --> for month of May 2006

It denotes yyyymm. By putting yyyy first, the sorting sequence will be much more organised.

Doing the first step right, it will save you a lot of time and money later.

Don't be surprise when I say "save money" because due to the nature of PLR, I see the same batch of articles being used in different membership site. Since we are getting the same thing, why not we subscribe to only 1 membership site and cancel the other one ?

PLR Organizer Instructions

This program is EXCEL based and you need Microsoft EXCEL to run it.

Here are the step by step instructions on how to use it :

1) Double Click on the EXCEL file - managePLR.xls to open it.

2) Click Enable Macro

After you do this step if it still DOESN'T WORK , check this option.

Select Medium under Security.

By setting it to MEDIUM, you can decide whether to run or not to run a Excel MACRO program. Excel Macro could be nasty and do not open it from unknown or untrusted source. Take note ...

3) Select "Step1" Worksheet

4) Browse through the folder where you keep PLR articles. Copy and paste the path.

In the example above, the path would be :

D:\~Marketing\YourOwnArticles.Com

This program will crawl all the sub folders ( 1 level ) listed in this parent folder so it will save your time from copy and paste each folder manually.

5) Input the path in the EXCEL program. Then Click on the button "Crawl Directory ..."

6) All the files will be retrieved and organised in a proper manner.

Next to your filename it will be the name for the sub folder.

7) You can now copy and paste the files shown here and keep it in report format like what I do.

Take note, the file / filenames retrieved will not be automatically transfer to the Reports worksheet. Report worksheet is just and example I created to show you on how the information can be organised.

This is just an example, you can keep the information in any manner you want.

In most of the PLR membership sites, the filename will represent the topic / niches. So the purpose for this tool is to help you list out all the files / filename in your local drive.
